This wireless network adapter is for Nikon Df. The WiFi adapter WU-1a plugs into the USB port of the Nikon Df to provide wireless connectivity. The WiFi adapter provides external control of the camera from a wireless enabled smart phone or tablet.
The WU-1A allows you to transfer images from the Nikon Df to compatible smart devices. It uses the Wi-Fi standard 802.11 b/g/n network protocol. Using the WiFi adapter you can share images on social web sites, by email or sms. Compatible with both Android and and iOS devices. You can use your device to view the live view image and control the shutter from up to a 49-foot distance.
Maximum operating range 33-49 feet depending on conditions.
